概要
This study assesses the impact of Forest Stewardship Council certification on forest loss in Cameroon during the years 2000 and 2013. Furthermore, the study also assessed reductions in forest loss in uncertified areas and national parks. The study used data gathered from remote sensing by the Global Forest Change dataset. The findings show that there is a low amount of forest loss within each intervention. Uncertified logging areas, however, appear to reduce forest loss if there is higher deforestation pressure.
