概要
This report aims to understand the ways in which workers in Fairtrade certified flower plantations in Ecuador understand and define 'empowerment' for themselves, their families, and their co-workers and how has Fairtrade facilitated the same. The workers observed that full empowerment requires a variety of influencing factors that included job stability; skills development; stronger and better-funded joint Bodies; stronger workers' committees and higher salaries, among others.
