概要

Conducted in 2009 in Nicaragua, this study analyses a group of women, supported by a local feminist organisation, producing coffee under Fair Trade. The study finds that women experience valuable benefits by participating in Fair Trade, such as a higher income, however, the women aspire a more equitable and just trade, which recognises women's efforts inside and outside coffee.
