概要

This empirical paper studies the link between deforestation linked to soy and beef in Brazil's largest biomes - the Amazon and Cerrado - and makes the links with EU imports of these commodities. It makes policy recommendations for trade tools and other instruments that can be used more effectively to reduce commodity-linked deforestation even further in Brazil.
